5 Days Safari Itinerary to Masai Mara and L. Naivasha

Maasai Mara is a big Conservancy and one day is not enough for a game drive. You will enjoy an early morning breakfast then depart with packed lunch for a full day of game drive viewing. There is also an option of doing a morning and afternoon game viewing if you prefer hot lunch at the lodge. The second day will provide you an opportunity to see more wild animals not spotted during your previous day game drive. Maasai Mara is famous for wildebeest migration between July through September each year, there is also an opportunity to experience the Maasai culture as they live close to the park. If you decided to go experience their culture it comes with a little extra additional cost to pay them to entertain you. At the end of the game drive you return back to the lodge to enjoy delicious dinner and overnight stay.

During day 3 your itinerary will be flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for the day schedule. You can either opt for a full day game drives around with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon or you can depart early in morning for your game viewing drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later return to your camp for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot over for lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The 4th day at Maasai Mara will begin with an early short morning game drive in the park. Return to Camp/Lodge for Breakfast and around 9:30 AM checkout and Depart to Lake Naivasha which is approximately 5 hours’ drive. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha we will check in at the hotel or the Camp of your choice we reserved for you and then proceed for Boat Ride to Crescent Island for nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes and many types of birds. We conclude the day by Returning back to your camp/lodges in Naivasha for dinner and overnight stay.

Depending on your flight Schedule After breakfast, proceed to Nairobi so that you can catch up your flight or to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island where you will be doing a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes and many types of birds. Return by boat to Naivasha for lunch at your lodge and then proceed to Nairobi.
